Songs of Hell

Long past midnight, deep down the riverside
You hear them whimper, you hear their cries
They have lost it all, even death has been denied
The devil looks it all, in burning oil he fries

Its' not a childs fantasy, its a sinners fear
For long I have known,
someday I will join them as a peer

Yet, here I lie at absolute peace, for I have long known
I have left the fear far behind, I write hymns' of hell
For the day I join them, I will not cry or maon
I am ready to bid this life a brave farewell

You can deny the sins that long you have committed,
This ain't a court of law, you don't get acquited

I shall see you all, for I know where you belong,
For I have always known, I knew it all along
The songs of the hell reach out for you to embrace
I hear them all the time, its' more of a grace

Someday, some of you might very well accept
all the maons we hear are not of those who wept
For I will sing the melodies, the songs of hell
I have found my new home, this is where I will dwell
