Paranormal (The inexplicable mysteries)

The word mystery, itself has an enigma that captivates the attention of even the most ignorant of the lot. The never ending thirst for answers and explanations for the happenings, the charisma of the cryptic rumors evoke a hidden thrill. A cold chill through the spine excites the reader, but all above have led to great confusion regarding the paranormal sciences. The first mention of a Parapsychologist invites a perception of a weirdo who has spent life chasing a wild goose, abject person who likes to study the ghosts or for worst an exorcist.
The paranormal science is a branch which tries to fix the broken links between the happenings, the mysteries and the claims surrounding them, psychokinesis, telepathy, ghosts, UFOs etc. are some of the few phenomenas which have always been surrounded by claims and counterclaims. The science for years tried to explain, but all the theories met the same fate.
The fallacies and biases towards the different approaches have led to many conclusions but none could prove the claims they made, although the approach for reaching a theory has to be same as none of them can be proven with strong evidence.

There have been numerous accounts in the history, with claims ranging from mysterious lights in the skies, alien sightings, haunted mansions and cryptic creatures. The irony is these rumors led to a hysteria amongst the people, and they started believing in ghosts and witches as the poodles of devil, although what we notice is the existence of such things is possible but are they as scary and harmful as portrayed in some classic Hollywood horror cults. The anecdotes heard from folklore or word of mouth which spreads faster than the jungle fire have more then often misled the ever believing people into fantasizing others as witches and warlocks.

The people so unabashedly without even sensing the logic or exploring the truth themselves, often get scared by the mere name of ghosts or any mention of the phenomena. For instance, my friend refused to read this blog for she feared that it might bring bad luck and the mere appearance of the words such as warlocks, witches and ghosts spooked her. Although the blog is about the paranormal phenomena, but still i tried to persuade her to read further knowing that she will get scared and my perceptions were correct, she didn't even try.

Mostly, the thrill behind a good ghost story and the rush of adrenaline followed by learning in detail about an incident follows the increase in interest. The common thinking that resides in every mind is that all that is inexplicable is dangerous. There is definitely a power much beyond our reach and explaining, but all that remains to be found is, whether it is as evil as we predict or are they mere souls living in parallel world to us, often wandering in our territory.
